Annabelle Ogoalaji

Hi! I’m Annabelle, a 17-year-old Health and Social Care student currently studying at Level 3 at New City College in Havering. I’ve always been passionate about helping others, which is why I aspire to become a midwife. The idea of supporting people during one of the most significant moments in their lives really inspires me to continue learning and working hard towards my career.

I’m excited to start my work experience at Care City because it offers a unique opportunity to contribute to community-focused health and social care projects. I love that Care City’s hands-on approach with local communities ensures that initiatives are tailored to real needs, leading to impactful and lasting change. This experience will allow me to deepen my understanding of the challenges of different communities while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a professional setting.

During my time at Care City, I’ll be doing desk research on integrated neighbourhood working, gathering information to support community health initiatives, and contributing to projects that aim to improve well-being and care for local populations. I’m looking forward to learning how these projects are designed and implemented and how we can make a positive impact on people’s lives.

A fun fact about me? I’ve recently picked up skating, and it’s been a fun way to challenge myself! When I’m not skating, I’m usually playing basketball or painting. I love staying active and being creative!
