John Timbs

John is owner and Managing Director of Lodge Group Care Uk Ltd, a social care provider based in Romford. Lodge Group offers a range of support for people in their own homes plus also residential and supported living services for children and adults with complex learning disabilities and/or autism, across Havering, Barking and Dagenham and Redbridge. John is also a Director of Care Providers Voice, a free network, for social care providers across North East London and a Clinical and Care Professional Lead within the Havering Placed Based Partnership.

John is also Co Founder and Director of My Employment Ltd, developer of ME Passport, a digital compliance passport that allows quick and easy portability of workers across the social care sector.

Born and raised in Seven Kings and having spent my entire working life in East and North East London I am delighted to be a part of the Care City Community Board in its endeavours to bring health and social care system partners together to introduce new ways of working for the benefit of our communities. I am passionate about identifying and addressing inequalities, an aim I know is shared by my colleagues on the Board who offer a rich and diverse range of life and work experiences.
